what is happening around the youth

Souled out Sunday Mornings at 9:30 during the school term. Runs upstairs in the youth room and is for all High School Students. We will be covering topics like a great decision, God is at work in you, signs of the new life, effective praying and practical life hints.

MIX@SIX  is A time of fellowship at 18:00 on Sunday evenings, we sell snacks but the coffee and hot chocolate is free.

 Holiday Clubs

Our Holiday Club is a 5 day outreach program to children in grades 1 to 7. The message is given through songs, games, memory verses and dramas, etc. Holiday Club is a joint ministry event between Coronation Ave Methodist Church and NG Helderberg.

 Is a year long process and incorporates Youth Alpha which is a course on the foundations of the faith; Heartlines, which is a course on values in action; and a mentorship course called Making Disciples. Along with this the young people are required to serve.

Over the next three months we will see young people being paired up with adults as we embark on our maiden voyage in our mentorship programme, so please keep usin your prayers.

Confirmation camps are some of the highlights of year.

Class of 2009

We are also an active Chrysalis church.  This is a three day retreat for teenagers, held in the 

mid-year school holidays. It is a time of renewal and challenge for the youth who go on the weekend. 

We will be hosting Chrysalis to there next JOL on

Son & Sand : Is our annual beach outreach programme run on strand beach in December for children from the Helderberg Basin by youth from the basin Dates: 14 – 18 December 2009
